The East Texas Prescribed Burn Association is an educational organization with the primary purpose of gathering together for recreation, fellowship, education, and training to its members and others regarding the safe and effective use of prescribed burning within the State of Texas as an agricultural, ranching, and land management practice, and to provide education and other resources to its member or others regarding land conservation and management.

Prescribed Burn Associations are non-profit organizations that use the neighbor helping neighbor model to solve many of the challenges related to learning to prescribed burn on your own property.

Who should attend: Anyone interested in learning about and participating in prescribed burns in the Central East Texas region. This organization is a great fit for folks willing to help build a family friendly organization that is welcoming to all Texans, and that want to get hands on experience using fire to care for God’s creation.
